About us

Hey we are best pals Laurel and Alice. We have travelled the world together for many years.

While travelling round Hawaii we came across the word Nalu; meaning surging wave. So when the opportunity arose to start a coffee shop 3 minutes away from the beach, we knew it had to be NALU. 

We may be small but our community is huge from all the beautiful faces on our wall, to all the local producers and suppliers we use. 

Nalu is about creating a safe space and a community for anyone to enjoy.

Our Community

We may be small, but we do what we do to create a community. We do it for everyone on the wall that’s why we open 7 days, to provide each and every one of you with the perfect cup of coffee.
